This year is the year of the “S”

First, we will introduce you to our Nursery (the furniture changes with each new birth for hygiene and sanitary reasons). This is the place where all our females give birth in peace and serenity. It is totally adapted and equipped for babies. After this period of 2 months minimum in nursery, all our babies go through the socialization phase, to do so, in addition to having been handled every day for two months, nursery period, we spend more time with them for days full of games, we have already familiarized them with the noises of vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms, etc … throughout their development with us. In addition, from a month 1/2, all kittens are washed regularly in order to familiarize themselves with grooming (washing and drying). We give our babies a lot of time before they leave so that they are well in their heads before they leave !!

We are very vigilant on the departure in their new families and we bring particular attention during their adoptions. Our kittens leave only for company, NO Kitten leaves for breeding (EXCEPT EXCEPTION). The kittens leave whole (not sterilized) but a deposit check of 500 € will be requested and returned after the castration or sterilization of the kitten which must be done between its 6th month and its 8th month so as not to disturb either its growth or its libido , if however, we do not receive a certificate of good health, it will be cashed with full rights because the kitten will then be considered as a breeder. A pet kitten must be neutered to live happily !!!

All our kittens leave at a minimum of 3 months (4 months abroad), after agreement with the veterinarian of the CLINIQUE VET’AZUR Cattery in Six-Fours, we do not leave any kitten without their consent, and are totally socialized. They are playful, cuddly I would even say “glue pot”. Before each departure, our babies have the right to a small check-up visit to the Cattery veterinarian who takes care to check that everything is fine (and it is this visit that determines if the kitten is fit to join its new family. ). They leave vaccinated (primo + booster) and rabies abroad, however the Akhal Maine cattery advises you for the first year to do a third vaccination 1 month after the previous one, and are identified by electronic chip “thermoship” (with temperature measurement). They are dewormed every month until they leave from their first months, and we will ask you to do this until their 6th month and then 2 to 4 times a year. In addition, Akhal Maine Cattery has a partnership with SantéVet, which is why all our kittens leave with FREE mutual health insurance FOR 3 MONTHS (only for France), and without any commitment on your part afterwards. the 3 months free, you just have to do nothing and the guarantee ends automatically, but this will be explained to you during our meeting.

For any purchase at Cattery Of Akhal Maine we will give you :

A reservation contract (if the reservation is made before the 3 months);
The purchase invoice;
– A certificate of good health dated less than 5 days before departure;
– Cattery Of Akhal Maine Advice Booklet with a copy of the parents’ tests;
– The French pedigree (if this has already been received from LOOF before his departure, otherwise it will be sent to you by mail);
– The identification card in your name will be sent to you by mail directly by I-CAD
– A transport box (color depending on availability, which we ask you to offer to an association when it is too small);
